Zero-Code-Training Guarantee
Decnet games enforces a strict zero data retention policy for code training. Neither Brody nor any upstream foundation model providers retain, log, or train on your proprietary game source code, Unity scenes, shaders, or project hierarchy. Your intellectual property remains 100% yours.
01Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Decnet games (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you access or use Brody (including our Unity Package Manager extension, web dashboard at brody.decnetgames.com, and associated cloud gateway APIs).
Brody is designed from the ground up as a developer-first, local-first toolchain. We prioritize data minimization, end-to-end transport encryption, and transparent control over what data leaves your workstation.
02What Data Leaves Your Machine (and What Does NOT)
- 3D meshes, textures, sprites, audio clips
- Binary assets, project settings, unreferenced scripts
- Full scene files and raw Unity asset databases
- Local backup snapshots stored in
.brody/backups/
- Your active prompt instruction in the chat window
- Relevant C# symbols and Roslyn compiler error diagnostics
- Active GameObject hierarchy context requested during task
- Processed ephemerally in memory to generate the response
03Information We Collect for Account Management
When you register for our Closed Beta, create an account, or log in via the Brody Unity Editor window:
- Account Credentials: Email address, hashed password (using secure Argon2/bcrypt algorithms), and generated Brody Access Keys.
- Waitlist & Survey Information: Team size, primary focus (e.g. gameplay programming, technical art), studio domain, and portfolio links provided voluntarily for Closed Beta evaluation.
- Ledger & Usage Data: Brody Credits balance, model execution timestamps, and credit deduction records for billing integrity.
- Diagnostic Telemetry: Anonymized HTTP response codes, latency metrics, and crash traces to ensure gateway reliability and prevent API abuse.
04How We Use Your Information
We use collected data solely to:
- Authenticate your Unity Editor session and grant access to the Brody agent engine.
- Process your AI requests, verify Roslyn compilation, and execute autonomous self-healing.
- Track quota allocations, handle credit grants/refunds, and prevent malicious multi-accounting.
- Send critical operational notifications (such as beta approval links and security notices).
We never sell, rent, monetize, or trade developer contact details or project metadata to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
05Security & Storage
All communications between the Brody Unity Editor client and our cloud gateway are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Database records, access keys, and passwords are protected with salted hashes and strict role-based access control.
06Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Regardless of your geographic location, we respect your data privacy rights:
- Right to Access: You can request an export of all account and ledger data associated with your profile.
- Right to Erasure (Purge): You may request permanent deletion of your account, access keys, and associated logs at any time.
- Right to Rectification: You can update your email address or account settings directly in the dashboard or via support.
