DEVELOPER AGREEMENT

Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 7, 2026 • Decnet games

100% Commercial Code & Asset Ownership

You own 100% of all C# scripts, shaders, scenes, prefabs, and game mechanics generated by Brody in your Unity projects. Decnet games claims zero intellectual property rights, zero royalties, and zero licensing fees on games or commercial assets you publish using Brody.

01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Brody (the “Service”), developed and operated by Decnet games(“we”, “us”, or “our”), whether through our Unity Package Manager (UPM) package, web console, or API gateway, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

02License & Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, Decnet games grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Brody package within supported versions of the Unity Editor for individual game development or authorized team studio projects.

You may use Brody to generate code, inspect scenes, build game mechanics, and compile shaders for commercial and non-commercial video games, simulations, and interactive applications.

03Brody Credits & Beta Program

During the Closed Beta, access is managed through allocated Brody Credits (BC).

  • Approved beta users receive monthly credit allowances (e.g. 50,000 BC for Beta Pro, 10,000 BC for Beta Indie).
  • Zero-Waste Policy: If an autonomous agent operation fails Roslyn compilation and cannot be healed, the associated credits are automatically refunded to your ledger.
  • Credits have no monetary cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for fiat currency.
  • Decnet games reserves the right to adjust beta allocations or refill credits for active community testers reporting valuable telemetry and feedback.

04Prohibited Activities & Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling protected client binaries or assemblies (Decnet.BrodyAI.Editor.dll).
  • Circumventing, spoofing, or tampering with credit verification, rate limiting, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Using Brody to intentionally generate malware, spyware, exploits, or malicious payloads designed to harm end users.
  • Reselling access keys or sharing confidential beta credentials with unauthorized third parties.
  • Executing automated denial-of-service or high-frequency abuse attacks against our cloud gateway.

05Independent Toolchain Disclaimer

Brody is an independent software toolchain developed and maintained by Decnet games. Brody is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with Unity Technologies or its subsidiaries. Unity® is a registered trademark of Unity Technologies.

06Limitation of Liability & Warranty

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis during the Closed Beta. While Brody includes automated Roslyn compilation verification and atomic rollback snapshots in .brody/backups/, game development inherently involves complex engine states. Decnet games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from project data loss or compilation interruptions. We always recommend using Git or standard version control alongside Brody.

07Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms occasionally to reflect new features, security updates, or regulatory requirements. Continued use of Brody after notice of such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
