FAQ & SECURITY POLICIES

Everything you need to know about Brody AI’s source code confidentiality, commercial rights, offline capabilities, and beta program rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Is my game source code used to train public AI models?

No. Brody operates under zero-retention commercial developer agreements with upstream model providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI). Your codebase AST, scenes, and generated scripts are never stored or used for model training.

Q:Do I own the code and assets generated by Brody AI?

Yes. 100%. All C# scripts, Shader Graphs, and Prefabs generated by Brody belong entirely to you and your studio with full commercial rights for shipping games on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile.

Q:Can Brody run completely offline without an internet connection?

The in-memory AST knowledge graph and Roslyn syntax validation run locally on your workstation inside Unity. However, reasoning and code synthesis query our hosted cloud gateway, so an active internet connection is required for AI runs.

Q:What happens when my 10,000 Free Beta Credits run out?

You can upgrade to the Indie Hacker plan ($19/mo for 250,000 BC) or Studio Pro plan ($49/mo for 750,000 BC) at any time through your Brody dashboard. Paid plans remove daily limits and unlock high-throughput priority streaming.

Q:Which versions of Unity are supported?

Unity 2021.3 LTS, Unity 2022.3 LTS, and Unity 6 (all patch releases). Brody supports Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel), and Linux workstations.
